On 10 March 2026, the Saudi Cabinet approved naming 2026 the Year of Artificial Intelligence. It is a clear signal of where the Kingdom is heading: AI as a main driver of development, in line with Saudi Vision 2030.في ١٠ مارس ٢٠٢٦، أقرّ مجلس الوزراء السعودي تسمية عام ٢٠٢٦ «عام الذكاء الاصطناعي». وهي إشارة واضحة إلى وجهة المملكة: الذكاء الاصطناعي محركاً رئيسياً للتنمية، بما ينسجم مع رؤية السعودية ٢٠٣٠.

The Saudi Data and Artificial Intelligence Authority (SDAIA) leads the year. The aim is to speed up the adoption of AI across sectors, improve services and quality of life, and strengthen the competitiveness of the national economy. SDAIA also launched the official logo: a palm tree, the national emblem and a symbol of the Kingdom's heritage, beside the letters AI.تقود الهيئة السعودية للبيانات والذكاء الاصطناعي (سدايا) هذا العام. ويهدف إلى تسريع تبنّي الذكاء الاصطناعي في القطاعات المختلفة، وتحسين الخدمات وجودة الحياة، وتعزيز تنافسية الاقتصاد الوطني. وأطلقت سدايا الشعار الرسمي للعام: نخلة، شعار الدولة ورمز تراث المملكة، بجوار الحرفين AI.
